I have agoraphobia and I am married with one child. When I became pregnant for the second time my condition had worsened and I was unable to leave the house unattended and then only for short periods of time.

After my referral to the stop smoking service via my midwife, I was visited at home by an adviser who explored all my options for quitting smoking.
It was very helpful to learn more about my growing baby and some of the complications that can arise from continuing to smoke while pregnant.
The information given to me and explained to me by my adviser, gave an insight into what happened when I smoked and how my baby had no choice but to smoke to!
I was seen at home over the 12 week period and I didn’t smoke after setting my quit date. I had the added advantage of my husband joining the service at the same time. He opted to use Champix and quit alongside me. We have never looked back and are immensely grateful for the wonderful service we received.
